OPTIONS ======= --db-host ADDRESS *address* of database system. --db-port PORT Database listening *port* number. --dbaas Database server is a service. Do not attempted to collect system statistics from the database system because scripts rely on being able to use **ssh** and **sar**. --privileged Run test as a privileged operating system and database user. --tablespaces DIRECTORY build the database using tablspaces, where DIRECTORY contains mountpoints or symlinks per documentation, default is to not use tablespaces -w WAREHOUSES, --warehouses WAREHOUSES Number of *warehouses* to use in the database, default 1. --help This usage message. Or **-?**. -V, --version Output version information, then exit. PostgreSQL specific options: --db-parameters OPTIONS GUC command line *options* to pass to **postgres**. This is intended for privileged users that can start and stop the **postgres** backend while passing parameter options directly to **postgres**. *dbms* options are: * cockroach CockroachDB * mysql MySQL * pgsql PostgreSQL * sqlite SQLite *dbname* is "dbt2" by default. NOTES ===== Running database specific build scripts manually may provide more advanced controls for options including, but not limited to, using tablespaces, selecting the type of stored functions or procedures to use, and possibly other database administrative tasks.
